Denouncing (Condemning And Censuring) Shirk

[137] From Malik from Al-‘Ala Ibn Abdurahman from his father and Ishaq Ibn Abdullah that they both heard Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) say that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, Allah said: I am the One Who does not stand in need of a partner. If anyone does anything in which he associates anyone else with Me, I shall abandon him with one whom he associates Me with.

Transmitted by al-Jawhari (no.623) and Ibn Hibban in Kitab as-Salah (Itihaf al-Muhrah 15/271 hadith no.19292) from the hadith of Ibn Wahb from Malik from al-‘Ala from his father from Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu).

Narrated by Muslim (no.2985) from the hadith of al-‘Ala from his father from Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu)

1) Doing Shirk is the biggest crime which Allah will not forgive (if you die upon it).

2) The deeds done by a person who is showing off is invalid. There is no reward in doing these deeds rather the individual gains sins.

3) The hadith is also revelation and is revealed from Allah.

4) Sa’id Ibn Ufair also narrated this hadith from Imam Malik in the Muwatta of Ibn ul-Qasim. (See Itihaf al-Muhrah 15/271)
