Eating etc. Should be Done With the Right Hand
Abu Bakr Ibn Ubaydullah: One Hadith. And it contains Itisal and some further examination (looking into, investigation, scrutinizing)
[62] From Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Bakr Ibn Ubaydullah Ibn Abdullah Ibn Umar from Abdullah Ibn Umar (RadiAllahu Anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu Alayhi Was-Sallam) said, “When you eat, eat with your right hand and (when you drink then) drink with your right hand. Shaytan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.”
[GRADING] – [SAHIH]
Humaydi said in his Musnad (no.635), “Sufyan narrated to us: az-Zuhri narrated to us: Abu Bakr Ibn Ubaydullah Ibn Abdullah Ibn Umar reported to me that he heard his grandfather Abdullah Ibn Umar say: “….” To the end of the hadith and its chain is [Sahih] authentic.
It is known from this that that this chain of narration is [Mutasil] connected and (because of) its itisal (being [Mutasil] connected) further verification is not needed.

[UNDERSTANDING FROM THE HADITH]
1) It is known from this that it is prohibited to eat (and drink) with the left hand without a valid excuse legislated in the Shari’ah. The Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu Alayhi Was-Sallam) has prohibited from eating (and drinking) with the left hand and walking in one shoe. See hadith (no.104), and Sahih Muslim (70/2099)
2) It is necessary to focus on prioritising the etiquettes and mannerisms of the Shar’iah in eating, drinking, and all the worldly affairs.
3) The Shayatin meaning the Jinn, eat and drink.
4) Eating and drinking with the left hand without any valid excuse is the way of Shaytan.
